SCORESCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) is the premiere, free business counseling and advice service found in the United States. For more than 35 years, SCORE's 11,500 retired and working business professionals have volunteered to help a new generation of small business owners start and grow their companies.
As a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) SCORE operates in cooperation with the SBA to provide business owners with information vital to your success, including counsel on financing options, business planning, marketing strategies, product development and more. Local SCORE chapters offer low-cost business workshops and seminars for both start-up and in-business entrepreneurs. Training covers a variety of topics, from writing a business plan to importing/exporting to e-commerce. Workshops also offer a chance to network with local, small business owners.
SCORE provides key services-both face-to-face and online- to busy entrepreneurs just getting their feet wet, or in need of a seasoned pro as a sounding board for their existing business.
