Independent Transportation Network Announces Future Service

Do your employees need to take time off to drive a parent during work hours? Does your mother want to go to a yoga class, but you are not free to drive her? ITNNorthCentralConnecticut will be able to help. Starting in mid-July we will be offering rides to seniors and visually impaired people 24/7 in private cars. Volunteer drivers are needed and help keep the transportation cost affordable. Fares only cover half the cost of the ride, and no tax payer dollars are used.

All of us have a stake in keeping older people active once they stop driving. Please encourage your employees to volunteer 3-5 hours a month to drive older adults even on the way to or from work! Flexible schedules.

For more information, email ITN
or call 860-951-5873 to help.
