Rep. Baram Honors Windsor's Rabbi Alan Lefkowitz
Connecticut State Representative David Baram participated in the festivities when Congregation Beth Ahm honored Rabbi Alan Lefkowitz for 10 years of leadership at the Windsor synagogue. During the ceremony, Rep. Baram read celebratory letters and proclamations from the Connecticut General Assembly, from Governor M. Jodi Rell, from U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman, and from the Town of Windsor. More than 120 people attended the luncheon, which was held at La Renaissance in East Windsor, Conn.

Congregation Beth Ahm s membership includes individuals and families from throughout Greater Hartford, including interfaith families. Most of its members live in Windsor, West Hartford, Suffield, Windsor Locks, Bloomfield, Enfield, the Farmington Valley, and South Windsor. Congregation Beth Ahm was created by 16 families in 1951 and initially was known as The Jewish Community of Greater Windsor. For more information about services and activities, call (860) 688-9989.
