Ferne Travels Owner Named Director of OSSN Chapter
Ferne J. Anderson, owner of home-based Ferne Travels LLC, has been named Director of the Northern Connecticut-Western Massachusetts chapter for the Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN). OSSN is a national association of Independent Contractors and Home Based Travel Agencies dedicated to the professional development of its members. Local chapter meetings provide excellent networking opportunities and include educational presentations on various aspects of the industry. Congratulations Ms. Anderson on your achievement.

Chamber member featured in ACA Publication
Joanne M. Wholey, Licensed Professional Counselor, is featured in the American Counseling Association's January issue of 'Counseling Today' on the subject of 'Influences' that impacted her decision to become a therapist.

Ms. Wholey is also featured in an article on Pet Loss in the Winter edition of 'Our Companions' newsletter. The article discusses the power of the human-animal bond and the unique aspects of grief associated with the loss of a pet.

The 2009 Ireland Getaway with D & D Travel
