The Bloomfield Chamber is affiliated with the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce, giving members access to a much larger variety of programs, events, and legislative support by joining together to form one, strong voice for the business community.
The Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce represents the Chambers and communities of Bloomfield, Bristol, Burlington, Farmington, Plymouth/Terryville and Wolcott. They are the second largest Chamber in the State of Connecticut, with over 1,600 members serving over 160,000 residents of the region.
Their two main focus areas of economic and community development go hand in hand as they find improving the quality of life of the region through community service and events, education and training, housing, entertainment, etc. makes the area more attractive to new businesses, families and quality workers. At the same time, raising the standard of living through business development, job growth, tax base, manufacturing, tourism, retail, etc. attracts more resources and people to the region to help improve the quality of life.
The Chamber is a positive, upbeat organization that promotes economic development, provides united representation in government affairs, is an advocate for the business community, and provides essential member services.
